In this design the Nuaykeo Gallery has taken the theme from the song Pennuaykeo, of the importance of creating strong friendships among all ethnic groups, and created a series of strong brightly colored textiles that feature contrasting bands of color that intersect and connect, set against a solid colored background dotted with small diamond shapes.

The way these scarves are woven the colors shimmer in the light and seem to have a life of their own.
