The scarves' pattern is actually based on an old Tai Daeng (Red Tai) Sam Neua sinh design. The weaving is complex and incorporates four techniques: supplementary weft, supplementary warp, ikat in the weft and ikat in the warp.
This scarf is much narrower than the other scarves in this series and is only 9 inches wide. It is the same design as our Tai Daeng Ceremonial Sinh Design Wall Hanging.
